some garage doors have remots and keys so if the remots in the garage, u could maybe use the key or u could go inside the house and if the house is attached 2 the garage go through the house to the garage open it or grab the remot and go 2 ur car to open it *big breath* lolz

The garage door circuit operates by recieving signal, optical or otherwise, from the remote. A certain frequency of the signal turns the circuit "ON - A" and opens the door. Another signal turns it to "ON - B", which closes the door. Without the signal, it is simply "OFF." The manufacturer of the garage door will have "Universal" remotes, where the correct frequency can be located, and thus sent to the device to open the door.
Otherwise, climb in through the window, if you have one.

If the door is not closed by the remote,open the door and get the remote...
If it is closed by the remote,how come it is inside the garage???

You can't. Time to call a locksmith, break a window, etc. Next time think about getting an "Outside Key Release" - it's a key cylinder that installs in the garage door. When you turn the key, the cylinder pulls out, and a cable attached to the cylinder pulls your manual release. Doesn't help if you leave the keys with the remote, though . . .

well, the garage is now open! you dont need to do anything to open it AGAIN :-)
if you really want to open,get inside the garage, get the remote, come out, close the garage and then open it!
OR
you locked the garage from inside using the remote. so press the remote button again to open the door!

if it can be opened only with the remote , it can only be closed by the remote . so ... someone is inside the garage , tell him to open the door !

so if the door can only be open AND CLOSED by the remote then tell the person who closed it to open it, unless it's not even closed? if that doesn't work then YOUR SCREWED.
