Over the years I have had bank and PO savings accounts, etc. Whenever I moved house the books and paperwork went missing. I heard that there were agencies who could help track these accounts down and let me reclaim them. Does anyone know of any? I would hate for the government to take anymore of my hard earned money

Go to the bank that you had the account with. If they can't retrieve the details then there is form that I think the British Bankers Association have produced on Dormant Bank accounts (ask them for it). Fill the form in and hand it back. The bank should then try locate your money (although it may take a while). Hope you find a pot of gold.lol

go to the banks where you have the accounts
they can tell you if there's any money in them or not and close them out if you want
