when he looks in your eyes you should see it. when he touches you, you should feel it. when he whispers it to you softly in your ear you should hear it in his voice. love if you have it you know.

Definetely more than words. If they love you they will show it. Look for signs, it is the little things that count. Does he TRULY listen to you when you speak? Does he take the time to at least try and understand your feelings? Does he give you little kisses on the forhead, cheek, hand etc. for no reason at all? Does he look into your eyes when he says he loves you? Does he hold your hand or put his arm around you in public or anywhere for that matter? Does he whisper in your ear? Does he rub your feet if you tell him they hurt? Does he play with your hair? These are just some of the things my boyfriend does which tells me that he loves me, yeah he says it too but showing it means sooo much more.

Well hey , am not able to understand why are you strugling to find problem . If the partner mentions the love to you, you should be feeling happpy and dont go behind its intetions to say it...

Just saying it doesn't prove anything. He'd have to show it. Pay attention for the little things he does for you, or the way he looks at you, or whether if he listens to you when you talk. It's the little things that count...but of course, saying it is important too.

It hard to say, does he acted like he love you, you must think he is just saying it to make you happy, I would just ask him flat out.
