Celsius and Fahrenheit are two scales used to measure temperature (NOT heat).
Having multiple scales used to measure temperature is much like the multiple ways of measuring distance. For example, one could measure an object to be 6 inches long, someone else could measure it to be 15.24 cm....they are both "right". Just like cm and inches, even through they are both units of length, they do not measure the same amount of length in one unit, so are Celsius and Fahrenheit. 1 degree C does not equal 1 degree F.
To convert C to F,
multiply by (9/5), then add 32
To convert F to C,
subtract 32, then multiple by (5/9)

Nothing, they are units of measuring temperature, its just they are a different scale. You can interchange between the two using
Tc = (5/9)*(Tf-32) where Tc = temperature in Celcius, and TF = temp in faranheight.

You can use this formula: C = (F-32) * 5 / 9
