Yes, why not? In northern countries we eat deer, elk, moose, bear. Southern countries eat alligator, crocodile, kangaroo, possum. There are many countries eat what we consider to be insects (and that includes shrimp, lobster, oysters, scallops & eels) and then there are the various snakes and desert creatures. Even camels. Why are they really any different from cows, chickens, fish perhaps we have a very sheltered diet. Supermarkets with frozen foods are not on every street in every country in this world. Man is a meat eating creature. We also like vegetables & berries & grains as well. It's the nature of the 'beast'.

I prefer to use a blender to chop the meat up so that it can be used as a sandwich spread like tuna. Cat meat is healthier than tuna, no mercury poisoning worries and leaner than most red meats. I usually go for cat meat as a break from dog meat, which is also healthy to eat. But with dog, its better if you serve it as a roast.

First you would need to boil it to remove the hair. Skin it like a deer or rabbit. Baste it with a little butter and season salt than bake it until it gets a golden brown. Make a gravy from the grease. Serve with mashed potatoes and peas.

As there was a scancal about cat meat sold as rabbit meat, probably you can use any rabbit recipe...
But to be quite honest: I would never eat a cat being aware of the fact!!!

You don't eat cat in this country. Go to China, or Korea, they raise them there to be eaten, like we raise cattle here.
