A few bad decissions but cant blame the ref.
The boys did not play well and need to improve if we are to do anything in this cup.

I came here a little late but this is my opinion, If we want to win the cup, we have to try harder, It doesn't matter if the Ref does or doesn't do his job, It's a matter of playing real hard and win the games convincingly. Don't stop to cry out like a child everytime we see a yellow card or something. I've always noted this weakness, don't complain because our battle's just barely begun. What will you do on Monday 10 July? Follow celebrating, of course.

He definetely helped Paraquay out but England didn't grab the chances well enough.

We can't blame our bad play on the Ref but we can blame alot of bad decisions over obvious dives and barely passable tackles. Both Gerrard and Crouch's yellows were stupid decisions in most people's veiw of the game.

Still we'd better play better than that in the future or we really do have no chance of winning the World Cup.

Come on England!

Hah! Too right he was.

I reckon he once lost a girlfriend to a really tall guy, and now he wants to get revenge on Peter Crouch. Either that or he saw Crouches robot dance in the week and laughed at him like the rest of us did.

Anyway, the ref was mexican, and isn't Mexico a bit close to Paraguay anyway?

Yes!! The Mexican referee, Marco Rodriguez, called the match as though he had personally experienced a lifetime of oppression at the hands of British colonialism. He even stepped on Joe Cole's hand! It's a good job it wasn't raining because if the gel/oil in his hair ran off into the ground we’d be facing an ecological disaster.

Not my favourite fella yesterday. so yea...crap. too many bad decisions in favour of Paraguay. Gerard never touched the guy. I must admit though that crouch needs to stop flailing his arms about so much.
Lets hope we have a better game against T and T

He was a good ref. I actually thought he favoured England.

His hair looked like the 1920s.

He made some bad calls, but I didn't see either team being particularly favoured.

Poor Peter Crouch though, he couldn't seem to buy a trick.

I was also going to ask this question.
His decisions really sucked!!! Why was he giving a foul everytime Crouch touched the ball, gave yellow cards without any reason. I think he was heavily drunk or something

Can't just blame the ref!

Pretty bad in my eyes. He didnt' allow the game to flow.

You knew he was going to be bad the minute he booked their first goalie right at the beginning. What was that all about?
