the beatles made a promo for their 1967 double a-strawberry fields forever/penny lane-although it didnt have any of the visuals that queen used for bohemian rhapsody it was still a piece of film made specifically for the music so i think that it was them-certainly not queen anyway-they just get the credit because at the time the camera trickery and special effects were something totally new and as a result it got heavy airplay and so most people identify queen with having the first crack at it but the beatles definately did it before them and i wouldnt be surprised if someone else had a go before the beatles-but im afraid thats the extent of my knowledge on this one
