A simple friend identifies himself when he calls...
a real friend dosen't have to.

full news bulletin on his life...
a real friend says "Whats new with you?"
A simple friend thinks the problems you whine about are new...
A real friend says
"You've whined about the same thing for years,
get off your duff and do something about it!!
A simple friend had never seen you cry...
a real friend has soggy shoulders from your tears.
A simple friend dosen't know your parents first names...
a real friend has their number in his address book.
A simple friend brings a bottle of wine to your party...
a real friend comes early to help cook,
and stays late to help clean.
A simple friend hates it when you call after he has gone to bed...
a real friend asks why you took so long to call?
A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your problems...
a real friend seeks to help you with your problems.
A simple friend wonders about your romantic history...
a real friend could black mail you with it,
but of course would not!!
A simple friend acts like a guest when visiting...
a real friend helps himself.
A simple friend thinks the friendship is over after you have an arguement...
a real friend knows it is not a friendship till you had a fight.
A simple friend expects you to be there for them...
a real friend expects to always be there for you!!

A real friend is worth more than all the gold in the world. We are losing ethics as the planet gets ahead, real friend to find one is somehow difficult. But if you make friendship without any anticipation and bear a giving attitude you may get reciprocation but again you should eradicate anticipation.

it depends on how old you are if you are not out of high school yet then no because you can have 500 close friends but as soon as you get out you lose track with all of them and maybe only 2-4 core friends after that a real friend will be there when ever u need them weather its to cry to talk what ever they will always give you the time of day and will NEVER screw you over

yes definitely there r true frnds but it also depends on ur luck and also on ur attitude towards ur frnd dat u get emotionally attached to her or its just casual frndship. so be very choosy i selecting frnd and be loving 2wards ur frnd.
