i currently own a honda crv, now... i am thinking on changing this car for a mercedes benz or a bmw... what do you think i should do... cars from 2000-2002 (benz and bmw's only ), what model should i get...DO YOU THINK ITS A GOOD IDEA.. or should i just pay off the one i currently have and exchange it for one of these later.

I drive a BMW and I hate the car note but love the car. It drives so smooth. however the maintenence is extremely expensive, the insurane is ridiculous (I am 26), all in all I wish I had bought something a little less flashy. It depends on what you want to do, I would buy a house first, fix it up, then buy another car.

I think it's a rotten idea. MB and BMW build great cars to drive in, but the maintenance and repair costs are astronomical. If you intend to get your credit rating up so that you can get a mortgage for a house, and you intend to be buying furniture, having that kind of extra expense just to keep an expensive car running is a dumb idea.
Keep you eye on the really important stuff, and don't get distracted by all the neat toys.

It sounds like you have your mind made up already. Personally the US Auto makers have improved 10 fold with interior business practices. Quality has improved at Ford Motor Company since the introduction of the QOSCs and Six Sigma. The old gap that once was led by some of the foreign auto makers has tightened. Karmax still leads the industry. Good Luck!

are you willing to spend more then go for the bmw or mercedes but honda will last and have good re-sale value

dude buy the Ford Super Cheif it runs on 3 fuels and is the sharpest truck i have ever seen. 400 hsp and gets 500 miles on a tank of hydrogen

this is totally your decision-my aunt drives a benz and she just loves it but it is high maintenance. i guess it really depends on what type of job you have and whether you can afford it.
i would go by that and whatever decision you make would be right by you.
