Does anyone actually believe the parting of the sea by Moses? If so, why is it that no one can do it today? Why is that everything is in the past, not the present (current)? It's like brainwashing; you are born and your name is so and so.....and you don't question it .'cos you are like everyone brainwashed.

There are things that happen in this world that are above our understanding. If we were to know how everything worked, we would be God. Not understanding everything makes us human.

First of all we are not exactly brainwashed.

The plain simple fact is we rely on technology to much. We have no need to part a sea, because we can boat across it or build a bridge over it; and it only takes a few moments to do either; think about it.

They had wagons made of wood and rope. Yes they didn't have much time but enough to save most.

The other thing is there are people today that can do things like that. Not many, because it is extemely hard to have the faith the size of a mustard seed to do it. To prove my point we have seen old women lifting up cars to save lives, we have seen the worst illnesses in the world cured in places like Lordes and we have seen many more unnusual things then ever before throughout history.
The wierd thing is however we have science to explain them away. I'm sorry, but it doesn't matter what chemicals are going through your body. If an older woman picked up a car her bones would break.
And as for most of the people who could do miracles they stay in hiding. Think about it. If I parted the seas on national t.v. the next day I would either be a science experament or be concidered the anti christ. Sorry, no thanx

First of all just for reference Moses did not part the Red Sea, God parted the Red Sea,He simply utilized Moses and his staff as his instrument.
Secondly you use the word everything to mean major visible miraculous events which is not everything, so lets not exaggerate. Those type events took place prior to the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. After the Resurrection they are not necessary as through Christ and reconciliation to God ,we have been given the power through faith to generate, effect and receive our own miracles
It is your choice to believe or not whatever you choose ,but it is ignorant and unfair to critique what you are not educated enough about to form an informed opinion.
If you wish to better understand God,Christ, the Holy Ghost and your place in hierarchy ,read both the old and the new testament, use a concordance to translate the Hebrew and Greek as to understand the meaning and context you are reading, study it ,dividing it with wisdom ,and then formulate your opinion.

No, I'm not brainwashed and I don't believe it just because the Bible says so. I actually saw a documentary on the scientific evidence for the parting of the Sea, which I recall included finding chariot wheels on the bottom of the Red Sea. The empirical evidence is out there, you just have to be willing to look and not just discount the Bible before you know the evidence for it.

Theoretically possible with a strong enough magnetic field, and if you agree with the premise that God is all powerful, then it is certainly possible for Him to allow Moses to use the physical forces available...not necessarily 'magic'
