If he won't divorce you, willingly, do it without his consent. Talk to a lawyer. You may have to sue him for divorce. If he left you 10 years ago, this shouldn't be a problem!

You could file for abandonment. It happened to my Grandmother a long time ago. This would be a disillusionment of your marriage. Ten years is a long time to wait for reconciliation. It's time to move on. Check with a paralegal service in your area, they can be very informative and a lot less expensive than a lawyer.
Take your life back.

Good luck

Get a divorce on abandonment of the marriage. 10 yrs????? I would say you were thru when he walked out the door to begin with, and you can always get a divorce without his consent, it just costs more.
