Mainly around Xmas time. You'll notice they'll do "Year in review" shows instead of a live show. Vince needs his $ so that's pretty much the longest he'll give the company a vacation.

There's no real break, and the wrestlers often work (wrestle or appear) up to 250 or 300 dates a year

no,they have to wrestle everyweek but sometimes during xmas they have a special episode containing wwe's greatest matches.
