Thank you!! I totally agree! Teens are having sex alot now-a-dayz cause of all this peer pressure to do it and fit in. While others cant say no or think it will make them older or more mature. Or tht they think nothing will happen to them from it. They think oh its me nothings gonna happen. But really the people tht say that are the people it ends up happening to. It makes me sad to see kids so young as 14 raising a baby and throwing their lives away..there goes the prom..highschool graduation...hanging with friends...college and here comes a crappy low paying job tht wont even get them by for them and their baby. I just dont understand it. Why cant they say no?? I dont know. Its just soo terryfing. Alot of teenagers are getting pregnant now a days and theres nothing we can do to stop it sadly =[[ it obviosuly shows all the talks their parents hadwith them hasnt worked =[[

Look. 1. Kids are baby goats and "kids" or children are from ages 5-8. 2. Not everybody is having sex. I am not and I am in 7th grade. 3. Masturbation is sick and wrong. 4. I am getting a education, doing homework, reading, fantasizing about celebrities, talking on phone and being what I am. Along with my friends. SO DO NOT CONSIDER US KIDS! And we have the right to make our own descions. Who knows, Miss I know everything, you could have had sex just like "all us kids"!!!

Kids have sex because they're not truly educated about the consequences. They believe they're being "safe" and don't know that "safe sex" is nothing more than a false sense of security.

The truth that kids need to know is that condoms fail 20% of the time or 1 in 5 times. And condoms are completely ineffective against some diseases. Among those is HPV which can lead to cervical cancer in women. Worse still, condoms offer little protection against the deadly AIDS virus because the AIDS virus is so tiny and condoms have microscopic tears. The AIDS virus passing through one of these microscopic tears would be like a dime passing through a basketball hoop.

In short, we're failing to properly educate kids about the dangers of promiscuity. If they knew the facts, they'd know it's playing russian roulette with your life.

they are having sex cos there is nothing else for them to do. Teens are too old for kids clubs and too young for pubs. There is just nothing for them to do. They need to stop investing in tourist attractions and concentrate on the kids that actually live here. They moan about them hanging around on street corners getting up to no good and say they should be doing something else, but they never suggest what. They'd rather have nice flowers in the town centre than give the kids somewhere to go to chill out and have fun with their mates. Bring back community centres and stop picking on the kids.

I guess that problems lies in every countries and posed as a headache to many Youth Ministry. Some girls get pregnant and had abortion as young as 13. During those teen years, I was too shy to even touch a guy let alone kiss one.
Its kinda freaking sad and worrying that our young nowdays are more daring and promiscuos compared to ppl like us 10 years ago. We hardly know who to blame it too. We can't blame their parents alone because the society has a part to play in all of these.
So unless we want all hell to break loose when our young ones takes over the future, someone better help them.

You are right! They shouldnt but can't help Because it's happening infront of 'em..Grown ups are not doing it keepin 'em away...while they watch movie..go outing.. or when they talk to each other about celebrities this topic comes.. how many famous movies are made without an adult scenery or in the strrets dosent they see couples kissing? Do u not think it tempts them to know the unknown..It's in human nature to be curious!
Let's grown be conscious so the kids will learn!

I agree with you i dont know why they are having sex at this age. I am 14 and i am still a virgin and plan on being one until im married. Kids are becoming more spoiled these days and i think that is a big factor.

Im 17 a mom of a 3 month old little girl.
I just graduated yesterday.
Parenting definitely has its rewards, but i now definitely agree that all teens put the minds straight to school, friendships, and their future.

first off for the little girl who said she has a baby and that doesn't mean that they can't go to school and do different things.i partly agree with you, but sweet heart what it means is at 17 you have a child to teach life endeavors to but how can you teach that child anything if your only seventeen and haven't been through different things your self?the problem with that is that you have babies raising babies, and if you really look at it, all of you all still have milk behind the ears.

kids have sex for multiple reasons, one of which, is because the parents aren't involved and when they are, they're yelling. and it comes with the party lifestyle.( you figure it out. find some kids to talk to, mentor, and help if you're serious about this. other than that, if you're not helping you've got no reason to be talking about it). although you may be helping, and if you are, the above doesn't apply to YOU
