percentage wise cost increase of cement in 2'06 to 6'06?

Having some cement work around my house. Contractor warned there would possibly be a surcharge added to my estimated cost of about $300. Final bill at completion of cement work was about $900. Am I being swindled?

I'm not sure where you are from, but when I order concrete here in MI it is about $90 a cubic yard. It has went up drastically in the past year.( From around $70) There are also light load charges that they charge sometimes if you are not ordering a lot of concrete. Hope this helps.

I do not have enogh info to answer your question. However, cement is not cheap.
