Well... I did one time on accident.

See.. I never actually have done bad drugs... but...

One time I got advil mixed in with my recees pieces. And since the advil look very similar to the candies, I didn't notice the difference until my mouth started burning.

Several gallons of water later, I was ok.

I feel it has to do with what's going on in their lives or not going on in their lives. Maybe peer pressure, want to fit in with people they think are cool. People can start for many different reasons. Lets just hope that after they've tried it that they stop before they get to addicted, maybe even overdose or die. The drugs from doctors also make people addicted....use with caution if you have to do drugs. Try to take up another safer fun hobbie and maybe even different friends that know how to make life happen without the need to be high all the time. Good Question, but no real answer because like I stated people start for all kinds of different reasons. Take Care!

Sometimes people get "conned" into taking drugs by friends and the end up developing an addiction. Or I think that maybe for some people things are going so badly for them in their life that they turn to drugs as some sort of comfort and then they just keep taking more and more and before they know it they are addicted and it's too late to stop themselves. Either way though, you'd have to be pretty stupid to try it, you don't know who made it or where it came from. It's a serious problem for some people and it's also sad that their lives get to that point.

I presume you are talking about illegal drugs... A lot of people have this misconception that drugs are there to release inhibitions and are a means of enhancing our enjoyment of life, but how is that possible when there can be so many ill effects that can come from their use? Your money, you life could be used for so much more than some idle time in a drugged out stupor! I have never used any & I am proud of it.

Why not? I think that one reason is that the may be sick. Or maybe they have asthma or something and if they didn't take those drugs, how could they maintain their health. And sometimes I have a headache I take Advil, Isn't that a drug? Did you mean something illegal. Why would anyone do that when you can simple go to your Doctor tell them what you want and they will give it to you.

One big reason is because people use it to get away from their problems. It might be the ecstasy (spelling?) that makes them forget about life for that one little moment. Some other users may be rich kids who are bored and are looking for something to do in life, so they turn to drugs.

Drugs help to numb negative feelings and emotions. It is a lot easier to get a quick fix to ease mental pain than to work through a difficult situation and discuss it with others.

Apparently it's like a release or something...if their life is really deep in the crapper, they depend on drugs more.

I believe that it's a really nasty habit but I wouldn't know, I have never touched the stuff.

people usually start taking drugs to feel a sence of acceptance amongst their peers which is commonly found amongst high school students. also, people use drugs because they believe that they are able to escape reality and feel that they are able to get away from their problems.
