During sleep, the brain is also communicating with other brains, via telepathy, as the Alpha wave is predominant and this is the state used during telepathy and meditation. Interesting article...

but it doesnt seem to explain itself well enough. For someone who knows absolutely nothing about this topic, it would not make much sense.

Dreams are only unfulfilled wishes, may be symbolic.Dream comes only in the absence of deep sleep.Awake, dream, deep sleep these are three state of affairs.Continuous dreams means unstable mind.Occasionally dream is OK.Lack of sleep ,continuous dreams, night mares must be seen from psychological angle,.
Telepathy is not dream or sleep. It is trying to contact one mind and another mind through" thought waves",But these waves are weak and only fine-tuned minds can receive it.The existence of telepathy (communication between minds) is proved.
Similarly meditation is not sleep. It is deliberate effort to control mind or concentrate on one thing. In deep meditation mind goes blank and "samadhi" is experianced. If concentrated on a particular object or person that could be seen or contacted .
But these requires a lot of practice

Isn't it called the Out of body experience when you communicate with others while you are asleep? It's controversial knowledge.I believe in it because it's all about believing.
