girl accept the reality that your dad is past away. he is on the side of our almighty GOD if you love your dad just pray for her salvation, and dont ask that he will be back or you can talk to him like he is alive. your 22 and older to understand the reality of life. focus now to the feature. you have an husband, make your life happy, if you have a kids, focus your mind to them, your mother is still alive and need your attention.
good luck girl... :-)

I'm sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what that must be like for you. When it comes to my own personal beliefs of death and the afterlife, I believe that death is a necessary but temporary event. It only effects the physical part of us. It's not easy losing someone so close and that you love dearly. But, it is necessary- all living creatures need to die to make room for future generations. Not to forget that our cells are genetically programmed to only divide a certain number of times in our lives (providing that no other outside stimuli/influence has prematurely shortened the average projected lifespan). I like to think of it this way: Brain activity is mostly comprised of electical impulses running along neurological pathways. Electricity is energy. I do not believe for an ounce of me that the act of death is capable of destroying energy. We're human beings, not little atom-smashers walking around in Wal-Mart. I guess the real question to ask is if you think the energy your dad possessed was dispersed into everyday normal functions such as photosynthesis for plants or if somewhere, somehow... he's still the same conscious being he was in his physical life? Just my two cents.

Back in 2003 my father died, it got me going crazy but my family as mom and brother & my wife supported me .. about is ur dad might come back one day that something I doubt.. talking to him is not hard .. I do that everytime I miss him .. just think of the sweet times you all had togather .. Keep his watch or a ring or his pillow anything was his .. but the question of why is GOD doing such a thing to you .. well like I just said I lost my father too .. so it is not only you .. people live and die by time .. as a muslim I don't think GOD did that to get me or to tease me .. acually when he died I became more responsible man of me and my family .. so I hope you get through it safe

ahhh, I am sorry. I too lost Dad almost one year ago. Mom I lost in 1994. I took care of him the past six years after his stroke. I see him in my dreams. It's quite nice.
Try clearing your mind before you go to sleep and speak to him. Tell him you are longing for some type of communication from him. He knows that you are hurting. He will always be in your heart, blood and soul. This is not about God. It's life in general. We all lose loved ones. Talking to him through prayer or whenever you feel like is good too. Be open to anything.

My Daddy passed when I was 8. I talk to him all the time. Sometimes I dream about him and we are always in a meadow. That is when he talks to me. I know they are only dreams, but they seem so real, and it helps me deal with the loss. I feel your pain. You will always miss him, but talking to him may help ease some of that. Who cares if people think your a little nuts if it makes you feel better and it doesn't hurt anyone else?

personally, i dont believe in god, and if you do, why would a caring god just stand by and let that happen? forget god, do your best to get close to the people you have there now, your father already passed (im sorry that happened) and you never know who is next. make sure that when somone else passes, you dont have any regrets, that they knew you loved them. i hope you find what you need

No. The only thing you can do is to remember him and when you will have children, tell them about their granddad everything. My grandfather from my mother side died before I was born, but we speak about him often and this is very important because everybody should know their roots.
