this is what bad parents do. they take away what is most important to their children to punish them. unfortunately you can't tell them how to parent. try calling up this kids mother and telling her that when she forbids her son to see your daughter, she is punishing your daughter as well for something she did not do. tell her that you don't want to see your daughter hurt like this anymore.

I don't think it's a common way of punishment at all, and I can sorta see why she might punish him that way, but I also feel like there's something else going on too.
There's a few questions that need to be asked. Was she like this with past girlfriends? Is she like this with all his friends or just her?
If she's only like that with your daughter I think someone needs to sit the woman down and find out what in the world her problem is with your daughter or talk to the son. Maybe he's hiding something from her.

I really do not see and almost Eagle Scout trying to play a female. I am sorry your daughter is going through this. Have you called the mother and tried to find out what really could be happening. Maybe invite her over for coffee or dinner and see if there might be a screw loose.

Believe it or not, I had this issue with a boyfriend back in high school. He would get into trouble and his mom would go nuts and forbid him from seeing me for weeks on end. Eventually, I got fed up and gave up dealing with that and decided to just move on. Of course, I was a couple of years older. I've seen the punishment though, and it is usually because the mom is a total nutcase.

The mother maybe simply manipulating her son by not letting him see your daughter as a way to punish and control him. Many parents will use whatever means they can to get the results they want.
If their child LOVES video game, then they will "ground" them from just video games. If they LOVE skateboarding, then they will be grounded from Skateboarding.
If you are concerned about this and have any question, just call the mother and ask her about it.

Possibly he does have a crazed mom, but even so. Ya we teens would sneak out to see eachother if we thought it was the only way. However, getting caught only means more of the bs to go through. Being almost eagle means he has respect and loyalty towards his parents. I would know because I have worked hard to get close to becoming one, but my troop fell through and so that option is out the window. He is just obeying his mother in hopes to see your daughter. (I apollogize for my misspelling). Although like said before talk to his mother and see if she could try to be a little more liniant and more compassionate towards their young hearts. I am going through kinda the same thing, but mine is I was forced to move away from my girlfriend and am not able to even pay my own way to visit her... not even for her b-day.
I wish you the best of luck with the situation.

She is using it as an excuse to cut him off from seeing your daughter. Unless this is a long and strong relationship, I doubt you and your daughter can do much about it. Talking to the mother probably won't help, ask your daughter to break up with him. His mother will give them a lot of trouble later, when the relationship is stronger.

Um I think your daughter is being played. If kids really want to see each other they sneak around. He probably has another girlfriend, I would talk to the mother. If that is the case the mom has issues and I wouldn't allow my daughter to continue to see him.

She might just be reluctant about letting her daughter grow up. However, due to the lousy reputation teenage boys have got, a lot of parents are overly protective with their little princesses. Believe me, I had to practically BEG my mum to let me see my current boyfriend!

WELL WE TEND TO TAKE AWAY WHAT OUR KIDS LOVE MOST WHEN IT COMES TO PUNISH TIME. SO YEAH MAYBE IT'S TRUE. OR LIKE SOMEONE ALREADY SAID, MAYBE THE BOYS LYING TO GET A BREATHER FROM YOUR DAUGHTER. SOME GUYS ARE LIKE THAT YOU KNOW. ONLY YOU AND YOUR DAUGHTER WOULD KNOW THE TRUTH.
