biology is the study of life. so, in the subject, you will learn about what makes up a living being (starting from the cells, then, tissues, organs, and organ systems). part of this topic is Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA)... doesn't that sound interesting? Next, you will learn about the processes that create and support life (this pertains to the cell divisions and all the processes like cellular respiration which produces ATP.)
hoooo! well, biology is such a vast topic! to make a long story short, it's about the things that are needed in life. without which, the organism would die...

Bios(means Life) and logy(means study) so literally biology means study of life!! and that means study of every single living thing that we see around us..eg.animals,plants and also microorganisms like bacteria ,viruses etc (which we cant see without microscopes!) This study includes all the aspects of life and to make this study interesting and convenient,there are many branches of biology which deal with special topics.eg Botony is the study of plants,Zoology is the study of animals while Microbiology is the study of microorganisms...these are just a few..there are many more branches of Biology!! enjoy the study of life coz Biology is such a lively subject....good luck to you!!
