if she is not eating you should take her to the doctor! babies need to eat, and they certainly should not be "lean". your child is not getting enough nutritien, so she needs to be taken to the hospital.

If she is not eating at all, take her to the doctor right away.
If you have concerns that she is not eating enough, consult with the doctor whether her weight and height are normal for her age.

Babies and young children are very good about eating until they are full. Unlike adults, they will not continue to eat just because food is there. If you try to force a baby to eat more than she needs, she gets too fat and can develop all sorts of medical problems.

Many parents who grew up poor are convinced that a "healthy" baby is a fat baby. This is no longer true.

at times kids go through not eating much, more so in the summer.give her fruits and veggies try diff things.also maybe she is not supposed to be chubby.my 3 year old grandaughter is only 31 pounds legs for days and tall as she can be,she eats all the time but it is just in her genes to be skinny.plus at 1 she should be on whole milk.like the others said if you are that concerned take her to the doc.

Talk to your doctor. If she just doesn't want to eat, it is okay, but if she is sick she will need help. If she isn't sick, don't try and over feed her, cause then she night have a weight problem when she gets older.

TAKE HER TO THE PEDIATRICIAN BEFORE YOU CHANGE HER DIET!

If she's one years old then she's moving alot more and burning off her calories quicker. you can add the baby cereal to her food to pack on some calories or give her some pediasure.
