Some people remember their dreams better than others. I belong to the ones who remember everything to the smallest detail. Please read about astral travel or astral projection (google it). You will also discover more about the nature of dreams and dreaming. The awareness of the astral body will make a difference in your perception while asleep. Not many people know about astral projection, but we all do it the moment we are asleep. Knowing about this phenomenon will give you a better awareness/ understanding and maybe you will even start remembering your dreams better.

I think it's the depth of your sleep. I some times wake up in a dream and want to get back to it. If it's a bad dream, I often can't remmember it, isn't that a good thing.

I read somewhere, long ago, in a book about the science of dreams that the part of the brain which is responsible for dreams has a very poor capacity for memory. Therefore, unless you can remember your dream on waking up (and therefore immediatly transfer the dream to a part of the brain which is good at remembering), you will be unable to remember it.

it depends on what you see and hear the next day, these images will remind your brain of the dream, if your normal days are full of images from many different sources, then the chances of remembering your dreams are quite high, if however its the reverse then it may take sometime to remember a dream. ps dreams are quite often very obscure, therefore it takes an obscure image to remind the brain of a certain dream.

I think it's because as soon as you wake up your day time problems take over, going to work getting the kids up, you know what I mean. They say it's a good idea to have a note book along side your bed and make notes as soon as your your eyes open.

Before you go to sleep, ask your subconscious to wake you as soon as you have had a significant dream.... not all of them are important, they just process what you have come across during your last waking period.... but some are

It does work, if you trust yourself!

There isn't anything to remember about dreams. They occur when the brain is at rest and they rarely have some narrative sequence that we can remember.
