Could go either way. Latin, since you are from Latin America &
Hispanic because you come from a Spanish-speaking country.
Of course, these are cultural/ethnic designations without any racial connotation. Being of Argentinian heritage, you are most likely unmixed white of Spanish, Italian and/or German extraction. I'd go with Hispanic, if I had to choose! (It's more Eurocentric and best applies to people from Spain, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile & Cuba.)
That is, of course, assuming that your ancestry is from Spain. So many Argentinians (& Uruguayans) are actually of Italian extraction. Italians are more Latin than the Spanish, who really are more of a Celtic people. Anyway, you are an American!

A quick look at the definition of both words will make it clear to you that your parents are hispanic and speak latin. If you are born in the US that means you are an american with hispanic heritage.
Check the definition of every word below:
A hispanic is Persons of Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Central or South American, or other Spanish culture or origin, regardless of race.
A Latin is the language originally spoken in the region around Rome called Latium.

Hispanic is someone who comes from Spanish origins, most Mexicans do. Latin on the other hand describes and plether of origins that are all Latin, including but not limited to Spanish, Italian and french. Hope that helps.

If you were born in the US I'd call you an American. You are of Hispanic heritage. Far as I can tell Latino and Hispanic are interchangable words. You were born in the US so that's only your heritage not who you are. Who you are is you. Your ethnic heritage means only as much as you allow it too. Your grades at school, your occupation, the music you listen too. Those are decorations. It's what you are about, what you believe, what you care about and the truths you find in and outside of yourself that are who you are. Not some label designed to automatically make you seperate from anybody who does not share the same accident of genetics you do.

Argentina is mostly a white country, so you are probably just white. Latino is just a politicly correct term for spanish speakers. Real Latinos are Italians and those from Europe who speak a latin dirived language such as French, Spanish, Portugese and Romanian. It makes more sense for an english speaking american of lets say Monacan decent to say they are latino than say someone from Mexico who is part native american or a Dominican who is black. Imagine black Americans calling themselves Anglos or germanics simply for speaking english?
Some of my family came from Spain so it would make more sense for me to say Im Latino than most south Americans

Latina because I think south America is where Latinos/as are. Anyone from Mexico, Central America, or South America (including Brazil) is of the Hispanic race, because they all came from Spain. Spanish came from Spain, just think.
Spain=Spanish
España=Español

Your a child of God. We are all children of God. Why do you need to be labelled? Does it make you feel good?
Sounds like your an American, but then again, you could be hispanic American or latina American. My wife is from Colombia but she is American like you. To me, labels don't mean anything. We are all from the human race.
It is what is inside your heart that really counts.

Actually...most people of Latin descent despise the word "Hispanic" because it's the label that was made for them.
Consider yourself a Latina.
