When a team player is good it means he plays by the rules of the game. He listens to the couch. He tries to get along with the rest of the team. When the team travels to other cities and countries he has good behavior. He does not go wild he knows he is an example of his home country. If all the players are good and play well they will win many games and get respect from their countries' government leaders.

someone who focuses on the group as a whole instead of what they do. like a team player isnt someone who goes around bragging when they score a goal or some thing, they celebrate and know they did it as a team..

I think you mean player.
One who is willing to sacrifice personal gain for the good of the common goal. Following me ? One who doesn't want the limelight but just wants victory . Following me ? One who says to himself it doesn't matter if I get a pat on the back, but I just want whats best for everyone involved.
