The sloppy english that is often used by blacks is of a crude, vulgar type. The black people that hate blacks that speak standard english do so because they want to associate vulgarity with the african race, so as to make vulgarity socially permissable. The truth is that vulgarity is more common among blacks, but is certainly not a defining trait, as it would be racist to say so. The black people that insult the clear-speaking blacks are thus simultaneously promoting bad black stereotypes while trying to exploit racial equality.

LMAO. I like this question. I sometimes face that problem and I find it hilarious when people get upset with me for speaking standard english. What I really hate though is when people say "You talk white." I talk white? Why can't it be that I just speak proper? They make it sound like speaking proper is something only whites do and blacks speaks another language.

Not even "white people" speak "standard English", but I don't think you have to hate someone just because they don't talk the same as you do, that's stupid.

Because they can't stand the fact that some blacks actually want to be successful in life and in order to do that, they have to be articulate and knowledgable about the English language.

at one job i had, my boss was black. she spoke normal english. she always got hated on, and it troubled her. I think that is shitttty. she is such a good person.
