Weddings are way out of hand! They can cost a normal person{not rich} $25,000.00 ..... are you kidding me or what? I want a party that will go on for a freaking month for that much money. I think I'd rather have a nice ceremony, with a rockin' party and the cost would be only 3 or 4 thousand dollars. It is a waste to spend so much.

With 50 guests in a 4 star hotel reception at $50 a plate, plus flowers, gowns, invitations, limo, and not counting favors, thank yous, plus your honeymoon(depends where you want it). You are looking at 15 to 25 thousand easy. Or you can do the Vegas thing and maybe spend a couple thousand.

You only have to spend what you need to get what you think you need. That's pretty general, but very true. My husband and I had a very nice wedding on $3000, and that's including the rings. Just keep in mind that it's about you professing your love for one another in front of all of your loved ones, not about the flowers or the food or whatever.

It could be anything from $100 to $25000. It depends on what do you want. Like a lavish reception or just a small ceremony.
