Not really. To tell the truth, I didn't even watch the MTV movie awards. Also, I am a huge supporter of gay rights and so on, but I don't think the "romance" between the two stars was that great. I've seen better guy-guy kisses in everyday life than the one in that movie. I feel like the movie itself was going after more of a shock value than to chronicle the love between two men.

It is amusing but if you have seen the movie, you have to admit that when Jack and Ennis shared a kiss, the passion and the chemistry between the two were very powerful.

It made sense. Everybody knew and talked about that kiss even if they didn't see the movie. I guess the same could be said about Mr. & Mrs. Smith, but *that* kiss was covered in Best Fight Scene, which got the award.

jake also got the best performance and when he was up there he said "wow I expected best kiss not this" lol now I find that amusing!
