Good question! He's trying to establish democracy and hope in a land (Iraq) that has been suffering under a mass-murdering monster for years...(among other horrible reasons)..hm. That's just awful! It would be much better to have left them alone to die and suffer under a dictator's leadership. Has anyone looked at the accomplishments of previous Nobel Peace Prize winners? Jimmy Carter was one of them - - need I say more? Maybe it's better that George Bush does not get one. It almost seems shameful to be lumped-in with the sorts that have been 'awarded' thus far.

Why doesn't he deserve the Nobel Peace Prize? Let me count the ways: Iraq. WMDs (that DO NOT EXIST), the lies to the American public and the world, his cavalier attitude toward gaining the support and approval of the UN for major military moves, rejection of the Kyoto Protocol, and so much more...The man is a disaster. No disaster deserves to win a peace prize when little (if anything) positive is accomplished by his actions.

Because the nobel peace prize is given to people that are communist/socialist, liberals (same thing as communist/socialist), terrorists, etc. Example is Fidel Castro, Jimmy Carter, Yassar Arafat.

George Bush fits into none of those categories. That's why I voted for him.

The list would be shorter if you ask why DOES he deserve the Nobel Peace prize.

Below I shall list the reasons as to why he is deserving of it:

Because the job isn't done yet. If the war is successful, and democracy is introduced to the region, GW should get the prize. If it fails, he shouldnt. Only time will tell.

Nothing else he has done is worthy of the prize. What he is doing and failing to do about illegal immigration is discusting. America has its own "insurgency", and Bush throws up his hands saying "we can't stop it". That's only because he is not trying to stop it. He is not enforcing the laws already on the books to stop it. Neither did any of the past presidents. They all share in this monumental failure which is the number one threat to America today. I say throw mass deport them all. Don't tell me its not possible, cuz we can do anything we set our mind to do. Impossible is not in my vocabulary, nor should it be in the Commander in Chief's.

George bush does not deserve anything all he has done for the USA is to divide your country and alienate the USA from the rest of the world
You are no longer the flavor of the month
We have Americans here who put a maple leaf on their backs and tell everyone that they are from Canada for fear of persecution

Because he isn't known for having the ability to bring diverse people together, but rather for being able to cause separation amongst diverse groups of people. As you probably know, election time is nearing, and republicans are once again focusing on the Gay Marriage and Flag Burning issues, rather than deal with the need to get out of Iraq, illegal immigration, political corruption, and natural disaster relief. He seems to want to make war with the weak, than spread peace...

Let's see...he started a war in Iraq under false pretenses and said it was won but three years later our troops are still there trying to force some peace upon a very unhappy population of people.
