I almost got raped in the south by a white girl. I woke up just as she was removing her panties..... ugly chick, I havent gone to the south since, and I stopped drinking.

My guess is because it is easier and also because they don't care of what a bunch of racists say, well they do, just not enough to let that affect where they live. Racism is everywhere, so what's the difference. That is a "generalization" that you made about the south being racists, it doesn't matter where you are.

The old north south thing is over with. I don't feel that the south is any more racist than any where else. There are a minority of Idiots that give the rest of us southerners a bad name.

I dunno...maybe they have family there, jobs, churches, a HOME. Why should they leave??? I'm sorry, but this is really just a very ignorant question. Would you leave your home, your family and your life because you were the minority? (Which, I believe, they really aren't anymore.....) Would you just run away? Somehow I think not. The only way to make a place better is if people work at it....I really hope you would do the same.

well that is a good question i would like to know my self but i think i have a good answer as a african american.
we stay in this places cause we are trying to make this world a better place and some people just don't understand this things but if there are people like that out there they better not come to me like that or some thing is going to happen.

you would have to live in the south, in a predominaely black county to understand this, but the blacks and whites have a very good relationship here, the families have known each other for generations. it is a strange, seperate, but together relationship. every wedding and funeral, blacks and whites attend and a[ppreciate each other. everyone is tied together. everyone knows the boundraries. everyone is satisfied living here we get along fine. we care about each other.
