Absolutely! You didn't make the baby on your own. Hopefully you weren't foolish enough to put "father unknown" on your child's birth certificate. In my state, each parent is required by law to support the child. The state will determine the fair amount of support and monitor the payment to ensure that the child is being supported. If the guy was stupid enough to cheat on his wife, it is not your child's fault. The support is for the benefit of the child, not a payment for you and not a punishment for the father. See an attorney if you are in doubt but do not delay!

From what I can understand about your question, your asking if you should get child support for your child but the father is marriend and you don't want to cause problems right??? Well if thats the case, it doesn't matter if he's married, he's the father of the child and should be providing for the baby, married or not. If it causes problems, that's not on you, he knew what he was doing and knew that this would be a possiblity sooner or later. I think that if he was man enough to have sex with you and produce a child then he is man enough to pay child support.

The father of your baby is married? That doesn`t mean he`s immune to CHILD SUPPORT! Heck, yeah! Get that child support,it`s for yours AND HIS baby.If by "trouble", you mean him with his wife...look...there must ALREADY be trouble or he wouldn`t have went looking elsewhere for love. Sweetie...that baby deserves to have everything any other baby would have, right? You love your child? I`m sure you do. Even if he denies he`s the father, DNA will PROVE he is, so don`t let that worry you!! ok?? Give the child everything it`s entitled to. My best wishes to you.....From my heart to yours..............! : )

If you were the other woman, theres already trouble on the rise. But, if he fathered your baby, I would definitly go for support, no ifs and or buts. That baby did not ask to be conceived, but it does deserve to be supported by both parents.

Yes it will but you shouldn't care hell he didn't care when he left you high and dry with a baby to feed. Girl he would do it to you. Don't feel sorry for him, he hurt you and the family he's married to do what you have to do for that baby.

it would definitely cause trouble...DUH, but he shouldn't have been cheating and you didn't make the baby alone so do what you gotta do...he's no good anyways and his wife deserves to know the truth.
