In geography, the situation of a place refers to the point in the map where the place occurs ,with repect to latitude and longitude.
latitudes are the horizontal lines and longitudes are the vertical lines.There are many of them(on the map).We must note which longitude and which latitude crosses the place on the map and that answer is the situation of the place.
