The Freemasons have a lot of power politically, as do members of organizations affiliated with them under the same umbrella. They might all be lumped together as groups that are part of the Illuminati. Examples are George W. Bush, John Kerry, DickChesney and others.

The goal of the Freemasons, like that of other Illuminati seems to be that of one world government, under their control e.g. by giant corporations, who squeeze out small businesses. They seem to proceed thrugh theft, while giving, usually on the system of liquid assets, in a tokenistic manner.

I think you might be disappointed to know how little political clout the Freemasons presently have. The real coin of the realm right now lies in the hands of the so-called "religious right" that has bought and sold this administration. Money buys a great deal of things, especially politicians who need it to buy airtime.

The goal of Freemasonry is to find good people and make them into better people. To make them into people that everyone in the organization can trust. The candidate must come of their own free will and accord, must not be seeking it for monetary gain, must be free, of legal age, must believe in God (a Supreme Being whatever you wish to call that), and be tolerant of people of other faiths. They must not be anarchists or law-breakers. They must be capable of keeping their word to others and to themselves.

We do not recruit but we do screen.

BTW, Masons fought on both sides of the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. The last American President who was a Mason was Gerald Ford.

Send me a note if I can be of service. I am a Master Mason in American Co-Masonry (Freemasonry that admits women and men into full rites and privileges).

Freemasonry is NOT a political organization. Members of my lodge are Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Green Party, you name it. Masons are forbidden to speak of politics during our meetings. We do not affiliate with any particular political party or religion. That is now what we are about. We are a fraternal organization that tries to make good men better, and to help others through charity.

Feel free to contact me with ANY questions that you have and I will personally answer them, that is, if you want to get your facts from the horse's mouth. If not, continue to listen to the false statements and guesses from other conspiracy theorists. Look at the answers you get from non-Masons. None of them are the same. All show different conspiracy theories. Now look at the answers FROM Masons (co-Masonry doesn't count, as many of their statements are correct, but they are not recognized by the real Masonic fraternity by U.S. Grand Lodges). All the answers are the same and can confirm each other.

Like I said, I a more than happy to give you as much information about Freemasonry as you require.

I don't know much about the masons but I do know that in Australia most of the priministers have been masons.
The priministers residence is called "The Lodge" in Canberra.
So in Australia I guess they would have alot of influence.
