How much does texting cost??

Question

I have a razr with a t-mobile plan and I have 1000 text messages/ month for $9.99.
How much does it cost to send a text message to someone in another state?Does it charge them to get it from me?What if I receive one from someone in another state?

At $9.99, basically you are prepaying 1 cent each for 1000 messages. If you go over 1000 then 10 cents each, unless you up your messaging plan to $14.99 which allows for unlimited messaging per month. It doesn't matter where the person is receiving your message in the US. The would be charged in a similar way, as you, based on their plan. Lastly, the messges you receive are like the ones you send, cost 1 cent as part of your $9.99 plan. If you go with no plan then each message is 10 cents (100 messages for $10) instead of the 1000 currently getting. Call 611 if you still have questions to reach T-Mobile customer care.

if u don't have a plan it's just $.10 per message unless u have a plan with text that will take away from your allowed text messaging, there is no extra charge if it is long distance
