Honestly? I can't help but love him as an actor. He's very talented and not so bad looking either. I'm just not for this whole Scientology thing. It's made him weird and lowered his appeal a bit. Other than that, he's a great actor and I still love his movies.

Hate is a strong word. I don't hate anyone.
Having said that, I will say he's not one of my favorite personalities.
I find him completely annoying. His rant about postpartum depression on The Today Show didn't help endear him to me. I find it totally irresponsible and rude for a man (who can not give birth) to mock, make light of and try to shame women who have suffered from this emotional disorder.
I've said it once, I'll say it again: until he grows a vagina and a cervix and can give birth; Tom Cruise should stick to what he knows: making long, dull movies and brainwashing and marrying women half his age.

I absolutely LOATHE him. He is an absolute nutcase how can anyone stand him. When he was jumping on Oprah's couch he showed the world his true colours.
His views about women taking drugs to cope with post natal depression was insulting and so ill informed considering he will never give birth to a child.
And the fact that any woman that gets with him is sort of forced to become a scientoligist is stupid. Just because he is a scientoligist he thinks he has a "degree" that makes his opinion matter more than anyone elses.
I'm surprised no one has tried to kill him yet. He is a disgrace to human society!!!!!

Well, I was going to give a dismissive answer like, "well, I don't even know the guy so I can't say whether I care one way or another for him", but if you want the honest truth..
He's a know-it-all, lunatic, cradle-robbing, egomaniac, OLD whackjob trying to hold onto that last strand of his fame is what he is. No, Tom you're not cool. You were good-looking about 20 years ago. And for crying out loud, act your damn age already. And no, you don't know everything. Scientology, smiantology. Puh-leeze.

I don't love or hate him really. He's not that big of a star to me personally. I can really take him or leave him. I do trip out on how crazy chicks get over him. And I'm thinking why the hell are the falling over him!? I mean what is it they see that I don't?
He was a cute kid. But now he's a normal looking older guy. I don't get it really. To me Sean Connery is hotter than him!

Well, I used to think he's mighty hot and super cool but time passes quickly too fast I should say. I'm beginning to see his true color more like his hair color, it's turning white but the worst part is his crazy monkey crush on his soon to be wife, Katie Holmes, or never to be betrothed, I hope so cuz she's ruining him!

i think tom cruise is a full scale jack a$$, he such an idiot. for one thing he runs his d!*# sucker about issues he has no business talking about, stuff he dont know anything about, just what his church is against and for, he doesnt even think for himself the church thinks for him. plus he left that beautiful tall drink of water for what reason? and then at a desperate attempt to revive his career, for some publicity he marries that dawsons creek reject, i liked the show but i hated her. and then give their baby a name and says it means something that it doesnt. come on, he's a weirdo, a freak, he's not even that good of an actor, and what is he, 5'2"?

I just loooooovvvvveeee him like anything and more than anything in this world.....now i think, the first word that poppped out of my mouth when i was a new born baby would be "TOM CRUISE" other than mom or dad......iam madly insane about him.
