Download AVG anti virus, And while you are there get spy bot and ad aware and zone alarm. They are free just look for the free version. They all work really well together.. Make sure you update each one and then run each one... The site is safe and you can read reviews.. Good luck and God bless. <><

well... you get what you pay for. No such thing as good free virus protection. I would suggest dropping some money on Norton Anti Virus. It's the best anti virus software I've found.

I would go for AVG and zone Alarm.
the AVG will give you anti virus protection and the zone Alarm (free excellent firewall) will save you from worms and other misc Mal code in the net (and it has some anti-virus protection as well).

~~I have two of them on my computer~~

This is much better protection than Norton, i know someone who had Norton and AVG on their computer and the AVG caught things that Norton missed.... also the AVAST you can set your level of protection, and you can scan things before you download them or open them if they are in a zip. Norton don't do that either. you pay lots of money for very little protection with Norton!

avast is a free virus protection and was recommended by my computer store over selling me Norton or McAffee.
