what does the prescription say. if it says ONE only take ONE. if you feel one is not working talk to your doctor.

Don't do that. Ambien has big problems with potentiation. If you allow your dosage to creep up you will get permanent morbid insomnia as a result. That's what happened to me. Took my sleep cycle over a year to recover.

By the way, the new drug Rozerem is MUCH safer to take than ambien.

God, no. Well, you can, if you don't like to breathe I suppose. You can also smoke crack cocaine too... but... /shrug
