She has never had an official boyfriend and I really like him but I don't want to interfere with her crush on him. He's all she talks about. If i tell him about my crush and we hook up she'll be hurt. I can't do that so now I have to tuck my feelings away for her. I love her but I don't know about that. I want them to hook up and her to be happy but what about me?

As they say ,,,,Men come and go , but a friend is hard to find. I wouldn't risk my Friendship over no man. To many men,,,not enough true friends,,so if you have a true friend,,choose the friend, and in my eye,s if she is a true friend and you told her how you feel about him, and why you wont date him, for fear it may cause friction between you and her, if she is a true friend,,,,,she will stay away from him also, out of respect for you!~

Just tell her what`s going on and talk it out. You may both decide to not hook up with that particular guy to avoid having feelings hurt or something like that.

Just tell her how you feel.
i would be so touched to know my best friend cared so much they'd consider what you are doing.
You are a wonderful person who obviously really cares for your friend.
Maybe it will turn out that she's doing the same thing for you even.
Just don't let a boyfriend come between you.

uh isn't that up to him? if you act like you don't care and he doesn't like her. you will be shooting yourself in the foot. I am confused too, why would you just assume she has a shot? do this find somewhere to write it that he will see. write gurly gurl (her name) loves boy boy (his name) and watch his reaction to it. if he scratches it out real quick you will know what he thinks of that idea. it's a game but since you have no backbone, it may work for you. good luck.

To avoid any hurt feelings or resentment, I think you should both take a pact not to date him. There are plenty of other guys out there.

Put it this way if your gonna hate her if she takes him then detatch yourself from the situation, if shes shy then try to help them get together. Who is truly more impotant to you? If thats her then stay away. If not then well go try to take him. But from the limited information given I would stay away encourage her to persue him and then if they break up its your turn.
