my ex left me 8 months ago for a new life in newport beach free rent new car with her fathers help. (her father says he wants us to be back together after all this time , but he wants us to get conseling, she doesnt want to be back with me, and she is having the baby in 6 days, she does not want me there for the birth , nor does she want me back. i know i have to do this cause she already open a case with child support services.. i don't think we are gonna be back together anymore, but it hurts me to think that i have to do this and burn any possible future bridges with her..should i not do anything, and lose my rights, and have faith, or should i go ahead and file ? we lived together for 2 years, but never married.

Sweets your the dad. YOU need to tell her your going to be there for the birth its your right..Then make sure you have papers in order and serve her the next day..Sorry so cold but it might make her see getting counseling is the best option..

You need to file for custody of your child after the birth but is she has custody by lack of marriage it may be hard to get. This is why you get married first.

well if she doesn't want you there and she opened a case already then you also go to court and tell them what you fell but you also have to proof things not just because you said they are going to give the baby to you. there are places where you can go for rights for men look for them and belief me they will help.
