For any reason at all? Maybe you were on the news or you were an extra on a movie, maybe you were in a commercial? Whatever the occasion I would love to hear your story.

Quite a lot. But nothing great.

My sister's boyfriend worked on tv as a camera man, so any time they needed to feel the space in a program, or some idiot to do silly questions, or basically they needed someone to do something, he used to call me. You see, at the moment I didn't have better things to do.

Also, my parents are very religious, so they managed to get me on a religious program to talk about some kind of rubbish.

And another time I was on the news, in the background. See, that day I didn't go to school to assist a party where some local band was playing, and they showed it on the news, and my mum saw me there, all drunk and dancing, instead of being at school, so you can imagine the sort of trouble they got me into.

A few times as an adult, but the most memorable was when I was 5. It was a local show with a "Captain" and you sat with about 15 other kids in a boat and he Emceed the show and cartoons, talking to his kid audience between cartoon breaks. He was so wonderful on the show, I was ecstatic when mum announced she was taking me out of Kindergarten early that day to be on the show! I was the envy of all my classmates. How shocked and let down was I, when I realized this man was wearing a wig, makeup, a fakey arrse Capn' jacket, and was actually crabby to the children when the camera was off him. I never watched his wretched show again. It was a real eye opener for me. I never trusted nautical males again!
