My lawn mower want start and I think its the spark plug gap space

I've answered similar questions before and know that the average gap is between .028 (most japanese models) and .032 (american models). If you gap your plug at .030, you should be fine.

The correct gap is of course .30, for most Lhead (side valve, flathead) engines.... this goes for some OHV engines..... they may be .20 to .30
