YAHOO IS VERY SLOW LATELY

I think it is the fact that they are doing major overhauling of a lot of sections. They have expanded the ad space in all the game rooms - from Pool to Literati, to Gin. Right on the heals of Answers, I might add.and even that has had a major move and some renovations in the last week or so. There is the new look of the home page and a lot of stuff added to the avatars.
I also understand that Yahoo is getting ready to merge with SBC / AT&T - maybe that has something to do with it. I was in Yahoo Mail the other day and the logo said at&t Yahoo Mail - then someone on here confirmed in a question that it was happening now. So that could mean lots of relocation to different servers or who knows what.
My advice: Clear you cache, clean your hard drive of unwanted old Internet and temporary files, and see if that doesn't help.

Yahoo! may be going through what MySpace is. Because so many people are signing up, they slow down the entire network (just like during downloads, websites, etc.). This may or may not be true: MySpace updates often in order to make it faster, but it is actually slowing the network DOWN.

It is yahoo especially trying to play games. I believe I read that Microsoft has combined with yahoo. I think that may be why so many problems plus the number of ppl using yahoo.
