......bought a cd 'cause you liked one or two songs on it and the one or two songs are the only songs you listen to and you don't like any of the other songs on it?i've done that several times.

Billions. It gets to the point you just want to buy the single or burn the songs you like to disk or IPod and take the stupid cd back to the store. Only thing is since you open it, you gotta get the same disk again or one of the same value and they take down your name and number. So you go to the cd swap shop and they'll only give you like $4.00 for a disk you just paid $14 - 20.00 on.

Yes! I have done that quite a few times more than I'd like to admit, but I get by. . .
Usually, I get an album only if I have heard a lot of there songs already. And the rest of the songs just kind of grow on me a bit. If you like a band that is REALLY good, I'll bet most of there songs will be HOT!

Dozens of times I've bought a CD with only one or two good cuts on it, and the rest were dog breath.
But.
Rarely, every now and then, there's another cut on there that wasn't getting air time and no one knows about it, and it's the best cut on the album.... perfect example... Supertramp's "The Logical Song" from their "Breakfast in America" album.

I don't ever buy CD's. If I ever do, it's because I make sure I like all the songs on the CD. Downloading music is the way to go.

twice. the first time when i was 13 and the all american rejects came out with their first album.....big big big dissapointment. then the other was perfect circles latest. other than one or two songs that was a sorry album. Now i listen to music thats actually written by musicians and not people who can "sorta" play and just make two good songs on a otherwise crappy album.

Several times - Lordy and i would be so pissed !!! Thank Goodness for LimeWire and CD burners and now i can download what i want and make my own KickA$$ CD !! Rock on Girly !.
