Ichthyophthirius, or Ich, is white spots on your fish. Go to your pet store and they can sell you an ich treatment. The one we used was drops that you put in your tank so it is really simple to use...you just need to know the size of your tank to put in the correct number of drops.

you need to get the ikc medicine from the pet store. ick is a parasite that lives on the fish but has a short life cycal and gose into the water to breed. the medicine only works while the icky is in the water so make sure you go the full coarse with the meson. some people believe giving the fish a slat bath also help but only try this if you know what you are doing as you could poison the fish.

ick is generally introduced to the tank as it dose not travel by air like algy spores. this means either the fish had it when you brought it or it may have come in a pack of live food or some live plants. for this reson new gold fish should be kept in isolation for a week so they wont infect fish already in the tank.

OK first "ICK" is a parasite it appears as small round dots like pimples you can not kill them a that stage of there life cycle they must brake open and become larva beginning the cycle again the cure from the pet store will then kill them. raising the temp will speed up the life cycle but may also cause more stress on your fish as it will also reduce oxygen levels and the ick is attacking the gills of your fish. 82 max. If what you see is like a cloudy appearance all over the fish then its probably odium another parasite the cure is the same if it looks like cotton in a spot or two its probably a fungus and there is another treatment for that DO NOT clean the tank until the cure is effected as this will stress the fish.to prevent re-infestation add 1 tea spoon sea salt per gallon of water this will increase the production of the slime layer of your fish there natural protection from all of these

medicate the tank. ick are parasites that look like little white bumps on the fish. White fuzz is a fungus - go get permafix from a fish store. unless you have goldfish, then you need something else.

Yes, the white fuzz is "ick"....good name, huh...They sell a liquid in pet stores, or wal-mart, that you just put a few drops in the water once a day and it clears it right up. It's pretty cheap and I do it once a month just as a precaution.

it could be. just go to your local fish store and get an ick-removal tablet and drop it into your tank and watch it fizzle. Also, you might wanna increase your tank's temperature to about 75-80 degrees since high temperature prevents ick from forming.

That is probably ick. You can get a medicine from the pet store that you add to the water. Also check to see if your filter is working.

I wouldn't describe ich as fuzzy. (Ich is generally just small white spots.) That sounds like a fungal infection. It's important to know what you have as the treatments are radically different in many cases. Take a look at the below link.
