BMW has a projected residual value of 53.6 while the infinity has 50.0. So BMW holds it's value better. The BMW 330 wins awards left and right, from car and driver, motor trend, automobile, road and track etc. BMW is far superior to the Jap Infinity--in that case just go get a Nissan.

Hmm its interesting to see what people think about this question. Now I own a BMW and that's all I have ever used for my own personal car, and I love them they are great. No one contests the fact that BMW makes a great product, but the prices can be steep. If you have the capital and you want to know which is the overall better car its the bimmer. Its been tested! BUT!!! The G35 is a sweet car for what your paying and really just in general. Not sure what one of the guys is talking about when he said he doesn't get any looks in the G, not to worry there. Pretty much in any and every way out there the G can hang with the 3! And remember this I'm for BMW so take this into consideration.

The BMW 3 series is a great sports sedan that has won many awards for its handling and looks. But recently BMW has had many quality issues. The I-Drive is a great example of that. The Infiniti G35 is also a great sedan that is as fun to drive as the BMW. It has won many awards in just a couple of years of introduction. But unlike the Bimmer, the G35 does not come with all the quality issues and complicated electronics. And you could also save a couple thousand dollars by going with the G35.

I choose the BMW 3-series. It's in the same league as the Infiniti G35. The 3-series has been thoroughly road-tested on the German autobahn system. And it's well-proven there as well. Go for the Bavarian car.

BMW is the car, the Infinity G35, doesn't compare to the BMW in any way.

The G35 is just as good, is less money for the bang and is one of the best resale cars going. G35 owners regularly get letters from their Infiniti dealer trying to get them to trade because the used G35 market is so strong.

BMW carries a lot of snob appeal, but until you spend megabucks for the M3 or M5 you're not getting anything special. Go with the infiniti!

The BMW is better in every way than any American car if the infinity is an American car no matter what BMW it is it's better.

BMW. Either the E90 (current model 3-Series) M3, the new M5, or the 645Ci. You seem like a sportscar/sports touring car kind of person, so I'd recommend the aforementioned models.
