Find the Matchmaker and tell them who you love, the Parents usually respect the town matchmaker in arraigned marriages. If not then I'd say tell your parents, If they don't like it you will have to make a clean break for it because the Idea of Marring for love will be too radical, or they may suprize you who knows.

Well, if you are a guy, you might have more luck talking to your family about it. If your a girl, it will be alot harder.
I have a feeling you might be a guy, so maybe you should talk to your family about it and explain why you want to marry for love. They may be willing to compromise so that your courtship with your intended is chaste and respectful. If not, know that love can come with time. Love is not the heady feeling movies portray it to be. Passion and romance wear off soon. What does last is mutual respect and friendship.Parents often choose a mate for their child based on their child's personality/needs. Their judgement in these matters is valuable.

Believe it or not the majority of marriages throughout history have been arranged. You can learn to love someone you don't know very well whether you choose them or not. My wife and I chose each other, but we had a whole lot to learn over the years. I imagine the "learning curve" would be a bit greater in an arranged marriage, but the principles would be the same.

Try to talk to your parents and see if you can compromise. Tell them they can set it up but you have to approve it. Go for a date with the girl they choose. Maybe you will be happy with her. If not, tell them to find someone else. Sometimes arranged marriages work out better than love marriages. People fall out of love and get a divorce. Parents know what to look for more than their children sometimes.

No one can force you to marry anyone, no matter what religion you are, if you don't want to get married, then, don't get married, and if your parents don't like it, they can get over it, you are old enough to marry, then you are old enough to decide WHOM you marry. Live your life the way you see fit, and be happy.
