Their are only two songs i know of with shooting/super star lyrics...The first is a classic by John Lennon ......the chorus is ...We all shine on like the moon and the stars and the sun...you're a super star..yeah that's what you are...this song is called "Instant Karma"
The second, which closer fits your description is a classic by a band called Bad Company and the song starts out with ....johnny was a schoolboy when he heard his first Beatles song...love me do I think it was and from there it didn't take him long...bought himself a guitar and he played every night...now he's in a rock and roll outfit and everything's alright ...don't you know............2nd verse ..and then .....the chorus....don't you know that you are a shooting star......don't you know....don't you know that you are a shooting star...and all the world will love you just as long...as long as you are....
