I'm building my house with volunteers and one person hit their nail bad and bleed on the basement floor. Didn't know about it until a few days later. What can be used to remove it? If possible.

a little kitty litter and a foot. pour kitty litter over the spot and rub it in well with your foot and sweep. Shot myself by accident with my nail gun while framing a basement for a customer and it worked like a charm.

I found this on a concrete FAQ website:

To remove blood stains, for example, wet the stains with water and cover them with a layer of sodium peroxide powder; let stand for a few minutes, rinse with water and scrub vigorously. Follow with the application of a 5 percent solution of vinegar to neutralize any remaining sodium peroxide.

Good luck
