This is SO STUPID, but must admit, very entertaining if you have the time to read thru this and watch the video.
Mrs World 2006 is a pageant for the world’s most beautiful married woman, and was hosted in Russia. Women must be married and 18 or over to enter. 55 countries entered the contest, but when it came down to the last two, Mrs Costa Rica and Mrs Russia, they crowned the wrong Mrs!
The host announced Mrs Russia as the winner, but then they crowned Mrs. Costa Rica and that's when the fiasco happened!
They then realized the mistake and took the crown from a shocked Mrs Costa Rica and gave it to a smirking Mrs Russia! Very fixed if you ask me, since it seems Mrs Russia, (an 18 yr old), and her 50 yr old Russian millionaire hubby planned it out so she'd win.

Yeah, I saw that and i was all confused because I heard them announce Mrs. Russia as the winner but then they crowned Costa Rica. It was crazy! But it really did look totally staged. I wonder if they set the whole thing up for added drama because with all the reality shows out there, beauty pageants just aren't exciting enough on their own anymore.

Yes, I saw that cheesy display of idiocy! The whole thing was a fiasco, starting with Alan Thicke and his poorly written lines. I'm HOPING that he was just a moron who didn't read the teleprompter, as he came off as arrogant and insulting.
And did you check out Mrs. China, who looked like she was about 13? Jeez... I have to admit, it was all very entertaining, in a sick, sad kind of way...
