To be completely honest, your specification for 3 is a bit much for each genre because a lot do cross over. And a lot of movies have sucked this year. Unless you mean commerically, I really don't know what your standards are.
Honestly the best Horror/violence movie has been "Underworld: Evolution" and the best comedy I've seen this year has been "She's the Man." There are quite a few movies I've been waiting to see such as "Superman" and the second "Pirates of the Carribean" and I have yet to see the third Xmen.
