During day times DONT DAY DREAM.Are there any thing which is frightening you in real life
Go to bed at night only when you are DEAD TIRED.
Keep an iron rod , or a pen knife , under your pillow and sleep.
Say to yourself ten times that you are fully armed and no one can do any harm to you.I have my weapons of self protection.
Keep a torch light ready with you to flash in case the room is dark and there is no light lamp.If you get up in night take a glass of hot milk.
Take the name of your favourite God/ANGEL

You can't really control your dreams - they are a cleansing of your psyche and a window into issues. So unless you can control EVERYTHING you see and do in a day - no.
However, you can help yourself by not watching TV for at least half an hour before sleep. Mediating in this time is a way of cleansing the psyche sufficiently or perhaps reading a good book. No TV in the bedroom is recommended also. And dealing with the issues these nightmares are bringing up - once this happens the nightmares should disappear.

yea according to old indian beliefs get a dream catcher it will absorb all your nightmares...
but if u think that is superstition
try this..
1. dont eat to much before sleep
2. bfore sleeping think of all the nice thngs u aspire or things u like.
3. Pray hard it works
Last option..
4. Do not sleep....Lol joking

You can control your dreams by telling your brain what to dream about before going to sleep. For example, if you are being chased by a monster, think to yourself, I am going to stop, turn around and destroy this monster. If you do this every night, it will eventually work. It worked for me.

1.- have a guilt-free conscience
2.- read something relaxing before sleeping or watch a good movie (a nice romantic comedy, or just a comedy... or an animated movie!)
