You've got to follow the court order. Period. Yes, you can go to jail if you don't follow an order. If you have new information, file a motion to reduce the child support. Otherwise, your a** may end up in jail.

He has to do as ordered but don't count on the Judge sending him to jail as he probably will get probation and given more time to pay it. It will not do any good if he is jail, doesn't make it right but usually judge's try another option before sending to jail.

how true...one must follow the judges orders...however u can appeal..cost some money...but that is one of our rights! so if you feel its unjust...spend some money on an attorney and see if he /she feels that you can appeal the case, some attorneys may not even charge you a consultation fee...check your local listings.
